When it comes to harm reduction and overdose prevention, community paramedics are one of the most effective tools we have. Specially trained paramedics can bridge the significant gap between conventional healthcare and the reality on the street.

Areas where community paramedic services help manage non-emergency and mental health situations typically see fewer unnecessary trips to the emergency departments and a reduction in repeat hospital visits. This increases the quality of care for people on the street and patients in the hospital.

Conejo Health’s CP-C Review program is approved by the IBSC® for 16 continuing education hours. We’re also approved to teach NAEMT’s Community Paramedicine Series.
