Welcome to Conejo Health
Increased access, awareness, and action saves lives.
Prepared Communities are Safer Communities
Conejo Health is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing equitable public health services, with a primary focus on substance use disorders, to the Conejo Valley and other communities across the United States.
Conejo Health, now in the emergency department.
Our Mission
Each year, thousands of lives are lost to the opioid crisis, while thousands more are impacted by the loss of a friend or family member.
In a country where SUD (substance use disorder) is frequently treated with stigmatization or even incarceration, the Conejo Health mission is to make evidence-based harm reduction strategies the new normal.
Along with our partners, we provide free overdose training, low- or no-cost medical equipment, and accessible, judgment-free public health education to the people and communities that most need our help.
Access Saves Lives
Having reliable, affordable access to medical equipment and training during an overdose can often be the difference between life and death.
Awareness Saves Lives
Do you know what to do during an overdose or medical emergency? For many, the answer is no, and at Conejo Health, we want to reverse that.
Action Saves Lives
By improving access and education, we hope to create communities where people are ready to take action against overdoses and other health crises.
What We Do
Currently, we provide free or low-cost access to community-oriented support, medical training and equipment in the following areas:
Overdose Prevention
American Heart Association® CPR
STOP THE BLEED®
